San Juan Capistrano
After weeks of heavy rain in Southern California, we were excited to have a dry weekend to get out of our place and into some new scenery. My tia Rozangela has lived here in California for many years, so over time she's talked about her favorite places to visit, and the most beautiful places she's seen. San Juan Capistrano is one of those places. Only about an hour north of us, this charming little town was the perfect day trip. We saw some history and breathed in the fresh air with long walks and sweet conversation. G and I are passionate about certian things, and seeing this big, beautiful world is one of them. My teenage dream came true when we moved to Cali. and there's still so many gorgeous places to see. God created, and it is still good.
This basilica was breathtaking!
We walked around some super cute side streets before going to the Mission
The old Spanish Mission, founded in 1776
My favorite part of the grounds was this small chapel. So stunning, it literally took my breath away many times.
Thanks to Tia Ro for recommending this place to us <3
