Summertime in Cali includes waking up to clear blue skies 98% of the time. Well, maybe not that exact percentage, but it really feels that way! It hadn't rained in a couple months when we had our first rainy day in Sept, and the best part was seeing the succulents soak it up. They seemed to come alive after it stopped, so I went out on the balcony to capture how green they looked. The feeling was pure thankfulness; the gift of rain.
