celebrating 27 in Vegas!

How I planned to spend my 27th birthday: brunch at Mama Kats with G, downtown/museum exploring,  ice skating at Coronado during sunset.

How G planned to celebrate my birthday: Trip to NJ to see the fam and be there for Julies baby shower. Weekend in Vegas.

We went with his plan! lol G's such a sweet husband for making my birthday so special, full of the things I love - family, travel and new adventures together.

lots of wind and walking made it feel like we were in Chicago all over again!
so we took a break from all the wind inside the hotels
The Venetian
Caesars Palace - Gs fav!
coolest H&M we'd ever seen, complete with live DJ
The Mirage to see The Beatles LOVE Cirque du Soliel
free tickets + front row seats! It really was amazing. These people are athletes if you ask me!
and I got a rose at the end of the show. I mean!
This was the side street outside of our hotel, complete with a 24 hour Starbucks and Sprinkles :)
On the home we were pretty excited to stop at the 7 Magic Mountains!
Thankful for couple photo swaps! lol

Jesus - bring me home. 27, let's do this.

all the december things

from walking through Balboa Park for December Nights
To picking out our *not tiny* Christmas Tree the day after Thanksgiving!
To cookies and coffee and my most festive + favorite mug
And baby showers for lifelong friends
PLUS getting to see my family and friends right before Christmas! Thanks to my AMAZING man
annnd see snow after way too long!
to winter sunset walks on the coast, hand in hand
oh, and birthday getaways (also thanks to the most thoughtful person in my life! aka G) that turn out to be way more than planned or expected because God gives good gifts to his children

December has always been and continues to be my favorite time of year. There's so much joy, laughter and hope! I'm thankful for every breath, and can't wait to celebrate the birth of Jesus who gave us the ability to breath freely, knowing that no matter the season - the best is yet to come. We love you all!

Happy Christmas Eve
