Visiting Escadaria Selaró was what I was most excited about seeing on this trip! It was even more stunning than I imagined it would be!

After a bus ride and short walk, we made it to Pão de Açúca and met up with Julie, Dre and the groom, Gui!

Going up the second time to the Sugar Loaf! (and the best named mountain goes to.....!)
Once we came all the way back down the mountains, we rewarded ourselves with the best churros in the world that came from this little cart. They were doce de leite filled!!!!!!! Literally heaven.
Our next stop was getting fueled up with more sweets at Dre's grandma's house, and off we went to see a game at the Maracanã!

My cousins met us at the game, and this little one was just adorable cheering the entire time!
The best! And I absolutely loved how gorgeous the opening of The Olympics was here at Maracanã. It made me miss my homeland so much.
