changes

One month away from another huge change in our life.

I feel excited, nervous, partially sad but oh so ready to begin a new chapter we believe God has lead us to. My prayer for us in all these years has been the same - God lead us, use us and grow our love for each other and those around us wherever we go, through your love.

I believe God has been with us from the beginning, and He's not done with us yet.

I'm praying for breakthroughs in our life through all this. If you're reading and like to join us in prayer, we thank you and love you! The best is yet to come.

“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Del Mar with friends

A few weeks ago we met up with Ang, Jon and Nathan at the beach in the late afternoon. Del Mar has become one of our favorite beaches because it is SO pretty and the train runs right through the coast, so it's super fun to see. One thing that has grown on me about the Californian lifestyle is that since the beach is so accessible, you can go any time of day for a walk, swim or just to hang out or watch the sunset. In Jersey, beach days were just that - an all day occasion, and I loved that! Here I've grown to love the days we just pass through to watch the sun go down ad carry on about our day. On this day we (well mostly Nathan) splashed through the water and we hung out by the sea until the sun set into the ocean. Here are some of my favorite memories!

^ I mean!! That face! ^
A pretty nice place to have a conversation if I do say so myself. ;)
waving hi to the train going by!
kisses!

San Clemente

We love a good adventure. Endless walks in new places are one of our favorite hobbies, and we have been blessed to be living in a place that allows for that all year long. But there's still something about summer that excites us like it did when we lived in NJ and Chicago! Waiting for those hot beach days and being outside all the time are what summers are all about. We love it! So in anticipation of summer things, we decided to do something a little different and challenge ourselves to visit places we've never been in Southern California every other weekend! So far we've had a blast, and I hope these pictures show it! Our first getaway was a day trip to beautiful San Clemente: A Spanish Village by the Sea. It's a 40 minute drive from home and the perfect little getaway.

Dining on the water is defiantly one of the coolest experiences I've ever had. Our little 10 minute wait for a "window"seat was well worth it!

We can't wait to come back again!
